Inspiretec creates roles for Graduates in 2019.

Inspiretec’s graduate programme continues to grow and evolve with the needs of the business.

28th August. Cardiff. During 2019 Inspiretec employed seven highly talented university graduates in Junior Software Engineering and Trainee Test Analyst roles.

The tech market in Cardiff is booming, more and more tech companies are making Cardiff their home and require staff with an engineering skill set. Inspiretec is proud to hire graduates and to help them develop their skills and show them how a commercial environment works.

The successful graduate programme has been working at Inspiretec for several years. Graduates are invited to a recruitment day where they meet several members of the team to find out what it is like working at Inspiretec, learn more about the roles available and are interviewed for the roles. The graduates who are offered roles are able to complete their final year with the security of knowing they have a job waiting for them upon graduation.

The programme enables graduates to take that first step on the career ladder. Many of Inspiretec graduates from years past are now in Senior roles, having progressed throughout their time with Inspiretec. Inspiretec actively promote and encourage career progression and advocate cross skilling throughout other areas of the business.

Alongside the graduate programme Inspiretec also introduced a Buddy programme this year. The Buddy programme was created in order to provide a new starter of the company with a safe, friendly face; someone to talk to and help them settle into their first few weeks at Inspiretec.

Hannah Worthing, Talent Acquisition Manager said:

‘’Our recruitment day response was the highest since we started the graduate programme. Our seven graduates really excelled during the process and showed us what makes them unique. Since they have joined Inspiretec they have really embedded into the company, embraced our culture and participated in a variety of activities. South Wales has the highest calibre of graduate talent and we are pleased to work closely with the Universities so that we may support their talented students. We relish opportunities to attend their career events in order to build relationships with the students, promote our brand to them, and make them aware of the opportunities to work here with us.’’
