Travelopia, formerly TUI Specialist Travel Group, is one of the world’s leading leisure and travel companies operating in over 180 countries with more than 30 million customers in 31 markets. Their 240 brands are grouped into three sectors: Mainstream, Accommodation & Destinations and Specialist Activity.

Supporting Travelopia.

Travelopia has a number of Inspiretec products deployed that include TravelCRM, TravelGateway, ATOL, RMS, and more prominently, Travelink. We also support Travelopia’s own branch of code/product set and engage in regular bespoke development projects through the full project life-cycle with professional service engagement.

Some of the key successes include a next-generation flight search project, improving conversion and reducing average handling time throughout the business and a new user interface to improve the speed of loading contracts where we have standardised contract data across properties. For the RMS: A standalone system to perform pricing and discounting on travel components, and NEO: A new initiative to provide customers with a revolutionary search process. Inspiretec enabled alternatives, price jumps, absorption and data feed caching.

Excellent support and active help at 2am meant we could go live that night and therefore pre-peak. We’ve had weeks of last minute phone calls and constant back and forth as we found issues, so responsiveness was great.
